At least one length-adjustable brace(12) is installed on the inside(6) of the door(1) and is fastened by one end(13) to a door section close to the hinge and by the other end(14) to a door section remote from the hinge. The ends of the brace have different spacing with regard to a plane(X-Y) running perpendicularly to the hinge axis(5) of the door. The forward end of the brace is fastened to the door at a point above the door hinges(3,4) and may be fastened to a door hinge reinforcement(8).
