A protective connector (10) for a telecommunications device has a housing (12) and several contacts (14, 16) which when fitted, tap (18) the contacts of the telecommunications device or are connected to earth. Said contacts (14, 16, 18) are essentially configured as strip-shaped sheet elements which each have at least one terminal slot, and are arranged so that they are parallel to each other, at least in sections. The protective connector also has at least one wired component (22, 24, 26) on which wires are configured. One wire (28, 30, 32, 34) of each wired component (22, 24, 26) is clamped into the terminal slot so that the wired component (22, 24, 26) is directly electroconductively connected to the contact (14, 16, 18). All of the wired components (22, 24, 26) are located between the contacts (14, 16) which tap the contacts of the telecommunications device. |
