CASTING METHOD FOR BONDING HIGH CHROMIUM CAST IRON WITH CARBON STEEL

PURPOSE: A casting method for bonding high chromium cast iron with carbon steel is provided to develop a carbon steel bonding technology by maintaining strong abrasion resistance and complementing brittleness of the high chromium cast iron so that it can be used as tools and parts for various industrial fields. CONSTITUTION: The casting method for bonding high chromium cast iron with carbon steel comprises the steps of melting the alloy elements by charging alloy elements of the high chromium cast iron into a melting furnace having a temperature of 1460 to 1500 deg.C; anchor (3) processing the lower part of a socket (2) that is already casted by a carbon steel material having a fusion point of 1550 deg.C; closing the molds after stationing and indwelling the socket (2) in the anchor processing step in the casting thickness layer of a washing mold to be casted with the upper layer of the socket (2) being projected on the casting surface layer; first heat treating the shot blasted and ground casting by shot blasting and grinding the casting after pouring the casting of high chromium cast iron melted in the alloy element melting step into a mold prepared in the mold closing step and then opening the molds in 20 minutes; and shot blasting the first heat treated casting again.
