The in-line roller-skate has a blade (10) beneath a shoe or shoe-holder and in which are rotarily mounted rollers (12) spaced apart behind each other. At least one of the rollers has a brake (14) comprising a hydraulic brake cylinder (16) positioned at the rear of the blade. A slave cylinder (22) possessing brake shoes acts upon one of the rollers. A control is swivel mounted on a horizontal fixture axle (28) on a housing of the brake cylinder. The control consists of a forked holder part (30) with an extra roller (32) pivot mounted on a horizontal axle. An operating plunger (38) acts upon a piston (24) of the brake cylinder and is pivot mounted on an axle (36) spaced apart from the fixture axle(28).
