PURPOSE: A data management device of a transmission control unit is provided to manage mass date efficiently and conveniently by integrating entire data for the transmission control unit without additional operation and by automatically updating in modifying data. CONSTITUTION: A data management apparatus is composed of a transmission control unit(2) receiving data according to operation of a ROM(Read Only Memory) programmer(4), and having a ROM modifying contents; a computer(1) constructing database from transmission control unit values, updating data by comparing the prior data with modified data in compiling main program, and forming file by updating data among database with reading the actual ROM data in modifying ROM data of the transmission control unit; and a printer(3) documenting updated data after compiling. Data is controlled conveniently and efficiently with integrating and updating files and documents automatically.
