The tool holder has a shaft (4,4') which supports at least two axially spaced (Z-direction) rotary clearing tool units (5,5',5a,5a') with cutters (6,26,6') in the circumferential area. The axial distance (10) of the cutters of the tool units supported by the same tool support is adjustable relative to each other eg by changing the distance of at least one of the tool units (5') in the Z-direction relative to the tool holder shaft. The machine tool can have at least two tool supports which can be moved independently of each other in the X and Z directions. The tool holders may be directed towards each other. |
