摘要 PURPOSE: Front seat frame structure for adjusting motion of a passenger is provided to prevent passengers from being injured by deforming downward with forming plural notches in the middle of the seat frame at a head-on collision. CONSTITUTION: Plural notches(2,2') are formed in the middle and lower part of a main frame(1) to decide the position of a front seat in a vehicle. The lower body of a passenger is inclined forward at a head-on collision of the vehicle, and the frame is pulled down. The seat is moved down, and the upper body of the passenger is bent toward a steering wheel. The notched part is bent momentarily, and deformed. Impact is distributed with placing the upper body in the steering wheel. The collision portion of the upper body is enlarged with guiding downward movement of the lower body. The passenger is protected from being injured with distributing impact by forming the notched part in the frame at the head-on collision.
