In the present invention, there is disclosed a closing device (6) for reading and registration unit of data cards (2) wherein the proposed reading and registration unit comprises a front wall (37 provided with a data card (2) insertion opening (41), and a card holder (23) intended for holding the data card (2) in reading and registration positions. The closing device (6) further comprises a rotatable closure element (22) that engages either before or after an alignment gap associated with the data card (2) depending on the presence or absence of the data card (2) in a read/write position. Said closure element (22) can be performed in the form of a drum divided into segments (48, 49), which reach in proper manner in guide means intended for guiding the data card (2). |
