<p>A method for treating a glass container for the adhesion of a thermoplastic polymer constituting alone or together with an aluminium layer a laminar lid destined to be hermetically sealed to the opening of the container provides for the application onto the opening of a Zirconium compound selected from an organic Zirconium salt and a Zirconium sol.
