DIAGNOSIS REAGENT FOR DETECTING MYCOBACTERIUM TUBERCULOSIS COMPLEX AND MYCOBACTERIA OTHER THAN TUBERCLE BACILLI(MOTT)

PURPOSE: A diagnosis reagent for detecting Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex and Mycobacteria other than Tubercle bacilli(MOTT) and a diagnosing method of them using the diagnosis reagent are provided, thereby simply and specifically diagnosing Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex and Mycobacteria other than Tubercle bacilli(MOTT). CONSTITUTION: The diagnosis reagent containing a pair of duplex-PCR primers as an active ingredient amplifies 136 bp of DNA fragment for Mycobacterium Tuberculosis complex and 204 bp of DNA fragment for Mycobacteria other than Tubercle bacilli, wherein a pair of duplex-PCR primers binds rpoB gene encoding RNA polymerase beta subunit. The diagnosis reagent containing a pair of duplex-PCR primers as an active ingredient amplifies 235 bp of DNA fragment for Mycobacterium Tuberculosis complex and 136 bp of DNA fragment for Mycobacteria other than Tubercle bacilli, wherein a pair of duplex-PCR primers binds rpoB gene encoding RNA polymerase beta subunit.
