PURPOSE: A thermal medium heater for a direct current is provided to increase an efficiency of a heat, to adjust easily a temperature of a heat generation, and to enhance an electrical stability of a heater by using a direct current as a power supply. CONSTITUTION: A thermal medium heater comprises a saturable reactor(20), a rectifier(22), a heat generation pipe(10), a radiation pipe(12), a radiation pin(14) and an insulator(19). The saturable reactor(20) is converted an alternative current of a high voltage and a low current into the alternative current of a low voltage and a high current. The rectifier(20) is converted the current of the low voltage outputted at the reactor and the high current into a direct current. The heat generation pipe(10) is generated the heat by applying the direct current outputted from the rectifier and have a pure resistance component. The radiation pipe is transferred the heat of the heat generation pipe to an outside. The radiation pin is formed on the outer circumference of the heat generation pipe and is radiated the heat of the heat generation pipe to the outside. The insulator is insulated between the heat generation pipes.
