UPPER ORE CHARGING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INCREASING SINTERING RECOVERY RATIO

PURPOSE: Upper ore charging method and apparatus for increasing sintering recovery ratio are provided which selectively separate and charge grain sizes of the upper ore and self-returned ore onto the sintering bed in sintering process. CONSTITUTION: The upper ore charging method for increasing sintering recovery ratio comprises the steps of inputting the sensed actual thickness of the upper ore(2) into a level controller(22) by sensing an actual thickness of the upper ore charged onto the upper part of a sintering car(6) by a distance detector(20-1), and automatically adjusting a level gate(5-1) by a level gate driver(21-1) by output of the level controller(22); storing a part of self-returned ore(17) generated in a third grain size sorter(16) into a hopper(19) by a conveyor belt(18), and charging the self-returned ore(17) stored in the hopper(19) onto the upper part of the upper ore(2) to an input thickness of a level gate(5-2); inputting the sensed actual thickness into the level controller(22) by sensing an actual thickness of the self-returned ore(17) charged onto the upper part of the upper ore(2) by a distance detector(20-2), and automatically adjusting the level gate(5-2) by a level gate driver(21-2) by output of the level controller(22); and charging blended raw materials for sintering(7) of a hopper(8) onto the upper part of the self-returned ore.
