<p>The external fixative with pneumatic cylinder is a device intended for the treatment of bones, in particular external osteosynthesis. The fixative (5) in the first applicative design allows apart from applying a selectable stability and interfragmental compression also a dynamic compression at the fracture point, which is operated by external gas media under pressure. The second applicative design of the fixative (5) allows apart from the described functions also the performing of dynamic compression during the patient's walk, while allowing the adjustment of the magnitude of the compression depending on the patient's weight. If the application of screws (2), which penetrate the bone texture (1, 1'') at a distance which is smaller than the length of the fixative body (5, 5''), is necessary. Its application is still possible by using a guiding sleeve (32) which allows coaxial movement of the bars (4'') holding the screws (2).</p> |
