The invention relates to a forceps for gelding animals. According to the invention, the forceps comprises two arms (1 and 2) articulated in a hinge (3) by means of a special screw and allowing at one end the articulation of some jaws (4 and 5) by means of some special screws (6 and 7), the hinge (3) being provided with a ratchet-wheel (12) secured to the arm (1) and a latch (13) being provided on an arm (2), said latch (13) being secured by means of a latch seat (14) provided with a recess (15) and a spring (16), the jaws (4 and 5) being conjugated and articulated by means of a special screw (8), the jaw (4) as well as a boss (9) located on the jaw (5) and geometrically conjugated with the jaw (4) being provided with some pressure channels (10 and 11) for achieving the stasis.
