The device has a motorized arc having at the top a hinged lever on which is placed the foot of the patient who has undergone an operation. The arc is padded against shock forces. The hinged lever is fitted with an arch which exerts pressure on the surface of the patients foot when the lever is actuated by the machine which controls the exercise according to the resistance of the lower member. The lever forms an essential part of the device, a thick part permits the patient to rest the foot and exercises the heel and knee. A motor tends to move the patients leg and controls the force on the foot by systematically freeing movement by operating on a muscular trigger.
