<p>The invention concerns a method for implementing a digital data link between a transmitter and a receiver connected by a transmission medium subject to disturbances, which consists in: transmitting data, protected by an error correction code with predetermined efficiency, by adjusting the level of the signal received by the receiver such that errors to be found therein are limited in number, and then increasing the transmission level to guarantee at reception a safety margin (M) against disturbances: and determining at reception a point for measuring the error rate before correction (S1); on the basis of the code efficiency based on error rate, determining the position of a forecast curve of error rate after correction (C2) relative to the measuring point (S1); selecting an acceptable limit error rate on the curve (C2); and starting from reception level (S2) on the curve (C2) associated with the limit error rate, reconstructing transmission according to forecast safety margin.</p> |
