Photostabilization of and 4-(tert. butyl)-4'-methoxy-dibenzylmethane (TBMDBM) against UV radiation comprises associating it with a ferulic acid derivative(s). An Independent claim is included for a cosmetic composition for the photo protection of skin and/or hair against UVA radiation comprising a cosmetic base and TBMDBM associated with at least one ferulic derivative.
