The invention relates to a gas turbine installation with graded expansion. According to the invention, the installation comprises an air compressor (1), a combustion chamber (2), a gas turbine comprising a high pressure section (3) and a medium pressure section (5), an economizer (4), a speed reducer (6) and a driven machine (7), the gases being partially expanded in the high pressure section (3), then passed through the economizer (4), wherein the air compressed by the air compressor (1) is preheated, and further expanded in the medium pressure section (5).
