The ergonomic seat is made up of identical strips (1) of compressible material which can adapt or are pre-adapted to the shape of the user's body. The strips may be fixed around a horizontal axle (2) at the front of the seat, allowing each to rotate and adjust to the shape of the body. Alternatively they are adjusted and then fixed in this pre-adjusted position.
