The cardboard package is assembled from a conventional blank with a top flap (13) which covers a smaller flap (3) at the top. One of these carries a strip of double-sided adhesive tape (8) on its edge. If the top flap carries the tape, its end flaps (14) are triangular. If it is on the smaller flap, the end flaps (6) on the section forming the base (1) are triangular. In both cases the flap tapers away from the adhesive strip.
