Edge portion of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) pipe is bound to a binding member. FRP pipe (2) has helical wound layer made of reinforced fiber and is wound at an angle of 45 deg or less, opposed to axial direction. A circular or elliptical cross-section is formed. The bond portion which is bound to binding member (3), has volume rate of fiber content lower than the main body portion of FRP pipe.
