<p>Refrigerant compressor driven by an electric motor (10) whose supply frequency is selectively variable between a discrete number of values (f1, f2, fT) as a function of an input signal. The invention calls for the use of control means (7) which are integrated in the compressor and are adapted to monitor two or more quantities that are variable with time in a mutually independent manner, of which at least one is representative of the actual operating conditions of the appliance, said control means being further adapted to generate said input signal with a value that corresponds to a pre-established combination of the monitored quantities.</p> |
