BROAD MWD, COMPOSITIONALLY UNIFORM ETHYLENE INTERPOLYMER COMPOSITION

Ethylene polymerisation comprises at least two injection points and two polymerisation reactors, each having a reaction zone where at least one catalyst and make-up feed is injected, comprising ethylene and optionally at least one unsaturated monomer. The process comprises continuously operating the reactors and separately injecting the catalyst system and make-up feed into the reaction stream of at least one reactor. Also claimed are: (i) an ethylene interpolymerised composition comprising (a) a melt flow ratio, I10:L2 = 8-10.4, (b) a Mw/Mn > 4 by gel permeation chromatography, (c) a melt index, I2, = 0.1-10 g/10 minutes, (d) a density 0.945 g/cc, and (e) a weight % at the dominant peak temperature above 75[deg]C >= 1.7946 X 10-28 X 10[31.839 X composition density] based on the total weight of crystallisable polymer and determined by crystallisation fractionation analysis at 20-100[deg]C; and (ii) a fabricated article comprising the ethylene interpolymer composition.
