<p>An attachment tether for attaching hooks and stents to endovascular grafts formed of interlaced filaments is disclosed. The attachment tether has one or more first lengthwise portions interlaced with the filaments to anchor it to the graft and one or more second lengthwise portions extending free of the graft for capturing the stent or hook and securing it to the graft. The second lengthwise portions may form floats or loops which act like straps to hold the stent or hook against the graft. The second lengthwise portions may also have unattached ends which are tied together to effect attachment of the stent or hook to the graft. Interlacing of the first lengthwise portions can be by weaving, knitting or braiding.</p> |
