Applicator for supplying a liquid medicament to the middle ear comprises a base section (22) which seats in the outer ear passage and includes a chamber (26) accommodating a flexible tube (16) joined to a connector (18). The tube continues to a cannula (12) inserted in the eardrum (10). The cover section (28) is detachable from the base section. It carries a hollow needle (42) which can be introduced into the connector (18). The needle is supplied from a medicament reservoir (52). Preferred features: The reservoir pump forces medicinal fluid to the hollow needle. The reservoir includes a container (56) for medicament; its wall includes flexibility. The reservoir casing (54) is made of solid material, and surrounds the container. Between these, is a leaf spring (58) exerting pressure on the container. A dosing unit (48), a capillary in the cover section, is connected in series with the line (50, 46) to the cannula. The leaf spring (58) can be locked in a neutral position not affecting the container wall. The leaf spring mounting permits movement between its neutral position and a working position. The reservoir construction is suitable for behind-ear location, or fastening to a spectacle arm. It is connected by a flexible tube (50) with the cover section. The eardrum cannula has an annular groove defined between two annular beads (14).
