An arrangement for cleaning the bottom (5) of an electrolytic tank (1) of solids (6) settled on the bottom of the tank, said arrangement comprising elements to be moved along the bottom or at least in the vicinity thereof in order to detach solids from the bottom. The arrangement comprises at least o ne moveable suction element (11), whereby at least part of the solids (6) accumulated on the bottom (5) is conducted out of the tank (1).
