The driver cab (2) is resiliently supported relative to the vehicle frame (4) through spring elements (22, 28). Guide pillars (6, 8, 10) project vertically up fixed from the frame (4) and are engaged by linear guides (22) which are fixed on the cab and act resiliently in a plane perpendicular to the vertical axis of the vehicle. The force engagement faces (24) at which the supporting forces engage on the cab conditioned by the other spring elements are set in or close to a plane perpendicular to the vehicle vertical axis which contains the centre of gravity (S) of the cab.
