The invention relates to a method and a device for blow-moulding containers consisting of a thermoplastic material. The container is produced from a preform (1) in a blow-mould, located at a blow-moulding station, using the effect of a pressurised medium. At least two blow-mould segments (34, 36) and a base insert (37) are used as the blow-mould. Temperature regulation means are guided through the base insert (37) inside a temperature regulation means channel. The temperature regulation means are supplied to the base insert (37) in a central base area (8). From this central base area (8), the temperature regulation means (7, 10, 14, 17) are directed away towards the exterior.
