The heat accumulator mat (1) has a cover layer (2) with a fleece layer (3), a grid formation (5), an intermediate layer (9) and a base layer (6). The base layer has ribs (7), which are connected to the intermediate layer and form a heat transmission chamber (8). Sorbent layers (10,10') are arranged between the fleece layer and the grid formation and between the intermediate layer and the grid formation, and contain a network formation (4,4') of adsorbent (11). At least two opposite heat transmission guides are arranged in the heat transmission layer, next two opposite edge seals (14). At least one working substance guide (16) projects into the fleece layer and the sorbent layer. The fleece layer, grid formation and intermediate layer form an overlap (13), which lies inside the cover and base layers and is positively connected with them. The cover and base layers form the edge seal, which encloses the overlap and forms a positively connected compaction (15) with them.
