Method at a vehicle mounted radar system for compensating for vehicle pitch

The present invention relates to a method for performing radar measurement with a vehicle mounted radar system. Amplitude values of radar beams (107, 108) having different elevations and being reflected by objects (300) in front of the vehicle are measured. A vehicle pitch is then estimated based on relationships between these amplitude values, which pitch is compensated for when performing further radar measurements.
