<p>A dosimetry system is provided which includes a radiologically water equivalent liquid scintillation (LS) solution; a radiotherapy source positioned in the LS solution; a cell containing the LS solution and the radiotherapy source and defining a measurement volume, said LS solution emitting scintillation light and said cell having a window through which the scintillation light passes; a collimator grid for collimating the scintillation light passing through the cell window; and, a detector receiving and responsive to the collimated scintillation light for generating a plurality of scintillation light images of the measurement volume.</p> |
