Deactivation of amine catalysts in polyisocyanate polyaddition products (PIPAP) after their preparation in order to avoid the formation of primary amines, especially primary aromatic amines, by means of additives which decrease the content of these amines, especially in soft polyurethane foams, i.e. by addition of groups I, II, and or VIII subgroups, is new.
