The vortex ring (3) has several clamping holders spread out equidistantly over the circumference for interchangeable plate-like hard metal paring tools (4a, 4b) . The clamping holders are arranged in two axially spaced planes in order to produce twin-thread worms in one work step. The holders can be set in separate tension ring discs fixable in a cone ring which serves to fix onto a vortex machine.
