A vector for tissue-specific expression of a gene (I) that encodes a cytotoxin or prodrug-activating protein (II), comprising at least one tissue-specific enhancer, functionally linked to a tissue-specific promoter, and a coding sequence for (II), is new. An Independent claim is also included for a cell containing the novel vector.
