The safety catch (1) incorporates a locking plate (3) joined to the winder shaft (2) and possessing gaps (4,5) between teeth over its periphery for locking bodies (6,7) .A cage (8) has restricted movement in relation to a fixed housing (10). An end thrust piece (9) matching the locking bodies contains the locking bodies after they have been flung out of the cavities when the locking plate is rotating too fast. The movable cage is in the form of a catchment chamber (15) open towards the locking plate and positioned in a recess (11) in the housing . The catchment chamber is movably guided between sprung bodies (19,21) as far as the end-stop.
