The inventive computer mouse has a housing with a convex handling surface (10) with at least two buttons (28, 30) located in the front area. A ball is rotationally mounted on the underside. The handling surface (10) is a lateral surface of the housing whose shape is essentially that of at least one segment of an envelope of a cone with a tip angle of at most 40 DEG , this configuration reducing the stress on the hand. The centre of the top button (30) is located at least approximately 55 mm above the roller surface of the ball. The upper edge area of the handling surface (10) descends backwards, essentially evenly from at least the height of the top button (30) to less than half the height, at an angle of approximately 25 - 35 DEG . |
