SUBSTANCE: method involves determining voltage difference at 5 kHz and 200 kHz frequency when current (initial voltage value is 0.6 V, current intensity is 0.009 A) passes through the tissue under study at these frequencies by means of bipolar needle electrode. The signal is recorded on the oscillograph screen as a curve which amplitude is equal to the voltage value. The current passing through the tissue, the voltage drops. The fact is recorded on the screen as amplitude drop. Voltage value is determined at 5 kHz and 200 kHz frequency from the curve amplitude together with difference between the voltage values at these frequencies. The difference being greater than 30%, the muscle is judged to be viable. The value being less than 10%, muscle necrosis is judged to be the case. The value being between 11 and 29%, muscle ischemia is found to be the case. The difference becoming less in the following examination of the muscle, the muscle portion is to be removed. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment.
