PURPOSE:To prevent the excessive discharge of a battery and to prevent the runaway of a system positively by instructing the saving of data when a battery voltage is lower than a specified voltage, resetting the system, turning off a discharging switch, setting a power saving mode and then turning on the discharging switch in response to a power-supply closing instruction, and thereby checking the battery voltage. CONSTITUTION:A discharging switch 3 and a comparator part 51 for checking the voltage of a battery are provided. A control part 52 instructs the data saving in a system 13, which is a load, when the comparator part 51 detects the fact that the battery voltage becomes lower than the specified voltage. Thereafter, the control part 52 outputs a system resetting signal (d) so as to reset the system and turns off the discharging switch 3. The control part 52 itself and the like are undergo transition into a power saving mode (or stop mode). Thus, the excessive discharge of the battery 2 is prevented in this constitution. |
