PURPOSE:To make it possible to travel a vehicle at a target traveling speed by displaying target traveling speed patterns of a rolling stock at current position and a position close thereto. CONSTITUTION:Target traveling speed patterns R of rolling stock at current position and a position close thereto are displayed on polar coordinates based on current positional information and a target traveling speed data. Consequently, difference between the actual speed and target speed and subsequent variation of the target traveling speed can be grasped readily from the target traveling speed patterns R thus displayed. According to the arrangement, the rolling stock can be accelerated or decelerated readily at an optimal timing and an operator can travel a vehicle at a target traveling speed even on a route not yet experienced. |
