摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a laminate consisting of a liquid crystal polymeric film layer and the metal foil layer bonded thereto, between which separation hardly occurs, by providing such a constitution that the roughness of the surface of the metal foil layer bonded to the film layer included primary roughness of specific surface roughness value and the secondary roughness of a specific surface roughness value formed along the primary unevenness. CONSTITUTION:In a laminate having a film layer 1 composed of a polymer capable of forming an optically anisotropic molten phase and the metal foil layer 2 bonded to the film layer 1, the surface bonded to the film layer 1 of the metal foil layer 2 has unevenness constituted of primary unevenness with surface roughness of 6mum or more and the second unevenness with surface roughness of 0.4-1.4mum formed along the primary unevenness. Since the film layer is bonded to the metal foil layer at an interface consisting of two kinds of large and small unevenness and having a complicatedly intricated shape in this laminate, an adhesive area is large and the stress vertical to the bonded surface of both layers is dispersed and, therefore, separation hardy occurs even after strain such as bending is applied.
