The interface system consists of a lengthwise base plate (2) surmounted by two smaller plates (3, 4) with upper surfaces designed to receive the front and rear ski boot clamps. Each of the smaller plates is connected to the base plate by a pivot (5, 6) which allows it to rock, and the base plate has curved sections (2a, 2b) of progressively reducing thickness at the front and rear. In variants a filter made from a thin layer of a deformable elastomer material can be incorporated between the base plate and smaller plates, or the smaller plates can be connected by a non-stretch link to limit their relative movement. |
