Electromagnet actuator with holding arrangement

The electromagnetic actuator has an iron armature element (3) that moves between two extreme positions in a housing (1) enclosed by an end plate (10) to which is fixed a permanent magnet (4). Around the armature is a coil (2) on a former. The drive circuit can be installed on the end of the housing and has a pulsing unit based around a capacitor with the end positions determined by the permanent magnet.
