A shopping list holder, suitable for distribution as a promotional gift or used for publicity purposes, is made from a plastic or resin material by extrusion, injection or thermo-forming, shaped to form a flat support (2) for a shopping list between a jaw (1) used to fasten the holder to a shopping trolley handle (4) and a clamp (3) which holds the list and has a cavity (3b) for a writing implement. Both jaw and clamp are sufficiently flexible to allow easy insertion of the handle and list respectively.
