<p>The present invention relates to applications of a dimerized form of lysozyme for the improvement of impaired animal or human fertility. It further relates to the prevention or treatment of reproductive disorders in animals or humans and to the use of a lysozyme dimer for the manufacture of a pharmaceutical composition suitable for such applications, as well as to an improved method for the preservation of human or animal cells, particularly germ cells, and for prolongation of eukaryotic cell life.</p> |
