A reusable quick change mount including a support unit or backing member (10) and a threaded retainer member or nut (12) having a barrel (20) which is received within a bore (32) in the support unit (10). A resiliently deformable member (86) is disposed within the bore (32) of the support unit (10) and frictionally engages the outer surface of the barrel (20) on the nut (12) to capture an abrasive device (60) which is disposed between a flange (22) extending outwardly from the nut (12) and the support member (10). The surfaces on the support member (10) and the flange (22) which engage the abrasive device (60) include anti-slip surfaces (16, 18).
