The mosaic game consists of a playing board (1) and numerous elements (2) of rectangular section. A cylindrical magnet (4) is built into each element (2). The board (1) consists of a non-magnetic base (5) to which a ferromagnetic plate (6) is attached. The elements (2) have elliptically rounded ends (7). The top and bottom (3' and 3'') of the elements (2) are painted in two different colors. The colors of the top and bottom are used to paint one half each (8' and 8'') of the sides (8) on both ends of the longitudinal axis of the element (2). The inbuilt cylindrical magnet (4) has a direction of the magnetic action which is perpendicular to the top and bottom of the element (2). The colors of the top and bottom (3' and 3'') are tied each to one pole of the magnet (4).
