The mounting for a rotating and circular chopping blade, to chop and mix the ingredients of foodstuffs and especially in sausage prodn., has a shrouding tube (10) in a removable mounting at a support arm (1). The inner radius (25) of the shrouding tube (10) is minimally larger than the outer radius (26) of the chopper blade (8). The end surface of the shrouding tube (10) towards the support arm (1) is fitted with a strip scraper blade (11), with spring elasticity, which is shaped to be in contact with the base of the chopping bowl (17).
