<p>The invention concerns a method for polymerising 3,4-substituted 2-activated thiopenes of formula (I) wherein s is 1, 2, 3 or 4 and R and R' represent independently of each other a hydrogen or a group of formula: A-(CH2)p-B-(CH2)q-R' wherein A and B i ndependently of each other represent CH2, O, NH, S; and R' represents a hydrogen or a C1-C20 linear or branched alkyl or aryl group optionally substituted by one or several groups, perfluoroalkyl, ester amine acid or alcohol; p and q, independently of each other are whole numbers ranging between 0 and 20; or R and R' form an aliphatic cycle, a heterocycle or an aromatic cycle; X represents Br, I or Cl or a sulphonate group, in the presence of at least a palladium II or 0 catalytic system, a suitable quaternary ammonium salt, and a base. The invention also concerns the resulting polymers.</p> |
