The present invention relates to compounds of the formula (I): (wherein variable groups are as defined within) pharmaceutically acceptable salts, solvates, solvates of such salts or hydrolyzed ethers, constituted on accessible carboxy-or hydroxygroup, or its in vivo hydrolyzed amides, constituted on carboxygroup. Also invention relates to their use as ileal bile acid transport (IBAT) inhibitors for the treatment of hyperlipidaemia. A method for treatment and pharmaceutical compositions containing compounds of the formula (I) are also described. |
