EFFERVESCENT TABLETS WITH A LONG SHELF-LIFE

The invention relates to effervescent tablets with a long shelf-life, containing one or more organic acids, one or more substances from the carbonate and/or hydrogen carbonate groups and optionally additional detergent and cleansing agent ingredients. To improve their stability, said tablets also contain between 2 and 20 % by weight, in relation to the tablet weight, of one or more substances with a water imbibition of less than 0.5 g water per 1 g of substance. The water imbibition of the substance is measured during a week of open storage at 30 DEG C and 80 % relative atmospheric humidity.
